stabilizer weight ?

I run an 8" Bee Stinger Xtreme with the supplied 3 oz of total end weights. The entire stab weighs around 8.5 oz. Works well for me.

I use a berger bolt to hold my wrist strap in place. My bow holds steady enough for me to accurately shoot much farther than I ever would at an animal. Less weight to pack around and tire out my arm for when its needed.

I run an 8" B Stinger sport hunter. The stab weighs 4.18oz, and I've added 1-2oz of plates on my last 3 bows. I also run a fully extended hogg father sight, which puts a little more weight out in front of the bow. I've played around and found this to be the best setup for me. I tried the 6" stab and didn't really like it.

I have a Doinker Tactical with all the weights it comes with on it. I also have a Hogg Father that is near fully extended.

10 inch B-Stinger with 10 oz on end. The only time I take it off is when I am hunting in a smaller ground blind it sometimes scraped against the blind.

I run nothing.
I setup my bow the way I hunt and I don't hunt with a stabilizer- no way I'm dragging that thing all over heck....I have enough crap hanging off that bow as it is.

I shot with a stabilizer for a season back 20 years ago and it did probably improve my shooting say 10 points on a full field round. I think it helps groups more than anything not so much on 'one arrow' during a hunt.

At home I shoot with Stabilizer. If I am sitting in a tree in ILL or Iowa then I use it. I even keep it on while hunting KS as it tends to spot and stalk with no back packing.
If I am backpacking in miles, I unscrew it and leave it at home. I do see a difference in group size from shooting with and with out it. But it is small even at long distances. So hauling in that extra weight to improve my shot by an inch at 50yds seems silly to me.

With that said. I do like the Doinker Tactical with the large weights on the side bar. Not sure what they weigh.
