Topper, I did resize through my redding bushing die and chamfered/debured prior to seating, it is new brass so that could be part of the problem I suppose. Winchester brass so not lapua quality.

Hmm. Seating depth? Maybe some extra case space that is allowing for discrepancies? I'm almost full at 70gr with 150gr Norma Oryx in the 270.

Another thing you can do is unify the primer pockets. It does make a difference, even on new brass. You'd amazed how much they vary. You can weigh your bullets, and separate them out. Some people even weigh out the brass and seperate them out. I've also heard as going so far as measuring the variance in the total case capacity with water, then separating them out. There are a lot of variables to mess around with.
