SRS SUPPRESSOR BRAKE

I shot a match with someone using this brake on their omega 300 over the weekend and it was so quiet that I had a hard time hearing his shots over the nearby shooters with braked rifles. I'm less worried about the sound and more about the muzzle control. Is there any chance there will be a version offered in the future that directs the gases upwards instead of sideways? I would be seriously interested in something like that.

That looks exactly like what I had in mind for features, but I don't love the price or weight. I guess if I eliminate my QD mount I would still be saving weight overall. I should probably wait and see how my new barrel balances before I get too hung up on the weight. That price though...

Price is why I went with the SRS.

Didn’t notice the rifle shooting to the left or right as long as it was timed correctly. Those shims are a pain in the ass though. So only use the SRS if you plan to keep the can on one rifle.

That’s my biggest gripe about the brakes that don’t have a timing nut. I’m a one can man at the moment and often have my can on multiple guns in the same range trip. I use quick disconnects to make this as easy as possible and I wonder how doable it would be to time the QDs so that the brake was always timed the same. I’m guessing this would be difficult to pull off precisely. I just need more suppressors ;)
