Sreekers Semi Live Elk Hunt

The plan for the morning is to hunt a nasty hole from a two year old burn. I have seen some really big bulls there and hope some have lived out the season there.

I will work my way slowly up the mountain glassing the burns hopefully turning something up. The challenge will be not getting busted if they have bedded down early. The top is a set of rolling drainages where i can spot them from far away easily. Hopefully i can put a bull down in his bed, and kill him.

Got to watch 5 of these guys tonight. They feed out of my basin, made for some entertainment. 3 cows, but nothing i wanted to take where i was at. Brutal hike in!

Welp, no bull. Looked all afternoon with no blood. Pretty disappointed as i really thought it was a hit.
