Lots of snow Robby, came down a ways to offload him at the truck. All the kill site pictures are in several inches of it.

We named him Humpty Dumpty since he decided to cliff dive after i shot him....

A "slope doper" is pretty handy. Last I knew the outfit was still selling them. Simple, rugged, and dependable. Fits in the pouches for the lieca CRF rangefinders with the rangefinder.

He was old, teeth were very loose and worn with lots of cavities. His body was easily double the size of the other deer he was with.

The deer are on secondary ridges for the most part, although some have made back to the higher basins now that the first week is over.
