Spring Kodiak bear

A buddy of mine drew spring kodiak bear tag. We are residents getting dropped off on a lake between Larsen bay and Karluck. I’ve got plenty of backpack hunting experience and gear, not my first time on kodiak, but interested to see other gear lists, recommendations, experiences and such.

backpack trap for glassing
warm clothes for all day glassing
waders
msr reactor system while glassing ( very good performance in the wind)
small sled for hauling bear hide ( way better than packing)
large 27gal roughneck tote to transport hide
salt
spotting scope
rubber rain gear (partly for fleshing hide)

Identify a good glassing location and use it (don't be walking everywhere and spreading your scent)
