Spotter help

I’m sure this has been asked a million times on here but... best spotter around 1600? 60-80mm Lens.
I’ve been looking at the kowa tsn 66 and 77 mm, Leupold sx4, Nikon monarch Ed.
it’ll be used for a combo of pack-in hunts and day hunts. So a balance of weight and performance is what I’m looking for. I don’t mind buying used either.

And yes, it's worth it to go a little north of $1600. At $1800-2k you hit a great threshold in the spotter market. Meopta Meostar S2 is the other great spotter at this point. To reach the next level, you'll need to go up above $2.5k maybe $3k, and those are usually just bigger and heavier.

If you are weight and pack size conscious kowa 550 and swaro ats hd 65. If more worried about bigger objective for light gathering and more zoom then kowa 770/meopta s2/cabelas euro. I seen them all around $1500 on used market.

There are other forums like the 24 hour one or there was another guy who found the kowa 773 for 1k on Fb market place...
