So I recently bought a fast Eddie XL off the classifieds and I'm just waiting for my tapes to come in but had a question when I mounted it and sighted it in at 20 yards today. Does anyone have a problem with the housing getting in the way of the arrows when adjusted down for longer distances or will I never have to go down that far once I put the tapes on it. Just had me alittle worried

I start to get fletching contact on mine when I get to around 135 yards, so you should not have to worry about it to much.

Thanks,
Boswell

It depends on your anchor point and where your peep is on your string. I anchor pretty high tucked up under my ear and my peep distance from my D-loop is shorter than average. So in my case I can get out to about 105 before my vane will hit the housing. I am using a large guard 5 pin housing on my fast eddy though so if I went to the smaller single pin I could probably get a little more distance. I am sure you will get out beyond 100 just fine.

I had the same problem this year using the triple ring. But I also dropped down to a 60lb bow and with my arrows lost a lot of speed. I can get to 95 with the small ring and. 75 with the triple ring. I switched back to the Hogg father and had same results. I haven't moved my peep because it's too close to season and don't want to rush trying to relearn my anchor and shot

How do you like this site? I'm thinking of trying one after season is over. I'm done shooting 3D with multi pins. Seems like the double pin would give me all I need

I got it all sighted in and the tape on it today and it's growing on me, I like that it's not cluttered and the .10 pins are actually pretty easy to see
