Spot Hogg Fast Eddie Triple Stack vs Axcel Driver 3 Pin

Curious if anyone has any experience comparing these two? I’ve been shooting the HHA Tetra in the two vertical pin, but thinking about switching to one of these for the versatility of the three pin and the ability to micro adjust all three.

I've own the triple stack, .19, but didn't have it long. I didn't like the big vertical post. I know a lot of guys like the sight picture and it is clean with just a single line vertically, but I lost the pins that way. The bottom two pins blended in with the vertical post. So I sold it. I recently just purchased a Driver and it's amazing. Light. Easy to adjust. I like the small pins, .10 for me. I like a horizontal pin as well. The spot hogg is heavy, but I know they have the boonie now which is lighter, but still heavier than the Driver. Just my experience.

Thanks for the input- Spot Hoggs definitely seem pretty beefy/clunky compared to the Axcels. I recently got to check out a buddy’s Driver and it’s a super sleek setup. I don’t seem to have a problem losing my lower pin on the Tetra vertical pins, but those pins are set up different from how the ones on the Fast Eddie are. Either way I guess you avoid that problem with the horizontal pins.

I shoot the CBE vertical three pin. And I certainly noticed that the bottom pin does not work for me. It’s almost useless. I think I will be looking at the axcel in my future

I personally didn't like the triple stack. I liked the idea of a cleaner sight picture but I would have a slight natural torque to the right and the sight posts would start to show on the right side. It affected my accuracy. If I adjusted the scope so that it wouldn't do that, then my 3rd access would be off. I picked up an Axcel Landslyde with horizontal pins and it's the best sight I own. Just ordered a Driver and I have no doubt I'll enjoy that even more.

What made you decide to try the driver?

What made you decide to try the driver?

It's lighter weight and the elevation wheel is easier to turn without having the windage dial in the way. I also like how streamlined it looks. I'm bummed they had to switch the elevation dial to the inside instead of inside the elevation wheel.

Sweet. Keep me posted on how you like it please. I can’t find the 4 pin pm anywhere. Guess I can get the 5 and pull one. I’ve been shooting the canyon pounder 4 pin on my old bow. Have a hankering to try something different. lol

One of my buddies just picked up a triple stack boonie, and another the three pin driver. I plan on messing with it a bit to see how I like them, they’re not on my bow so not sure how helpful the comparison will be, but will still be helpful to see them in person at least. Either way not sure I can justify another sight this year but I appreciate all the feedback.
