I’m looking into purchasing a pack for some future hunts and a buddy has the 40 liter Spika. He hunts quite a bit out west and says he loves it. He’s packed animals with it, etc etc and has no complaints.

They look legit, good looking pack at a decent price. But, there isn’t a lot of info out there about them.

Anyone have any info on them? Used one? Loved it, hated it? Is it something worth a look?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

I use a lot of Spika gear, but full disclosure - I'm on their 'flow team'. This just means I get a discount on their gear and I'm not getting paid to use their gear, and I'm not obligated to use their gear exclusively.

Their Drover packs are definitely decent. Compared to other similarly priced frame packs with a meat shelf, they're some of the better ones. I've bought a few for different people and they've all been used fairly hard and have functioned well.

One had a problem with some stitching but they replaced it under warranty straight away, so the service is fantastic.

If it's within your budget, go for it, but don't expect it to perform like one of the higher-end American made packs. I have personally used an Exo 5500 and Kifaru Reckoning for a long time, and one of my mates who runs heaps of Spika gear with me used one of their packs for a little while and then upgraded to an Exo as well.

Thanks for the reply, I sent you a PM.
