Spend my money…

I’m looking to add a spotter to my range kit and am looking at these two:

Vortex Viper HD 20-60x80
Athlon Ares G2 UHD 20-60x80

I have no desire or need to spend 2-3k on a spotter. If you had to pick between one of these two which would you pick and why? This would be mostly a range optic with a small possibility of hunt use.
