I’ve reloaded the 180 gr Grand Slam for my 30-06. Used on antelope and whitetails with good results. The grand slam was kind of Speers answer to the partition. I like them. Thanks. -Rufus

super bullet. these were recovered from elk and moose. most shots were pass throughs. deer were all pass throughs.

the bullet on the far right is not mine. it was recovered beside a grand slam and was completely healed from the year before.

I’m a fan of them, they really hold up even at high velocity, I wish they’d put some in a factory load , Speer gold dot/ federal fusion are just slightly lesser than a GS for hunting medium sized game , and they are bad a$$

Struggled to find a good shooting load in my grandpa's old 30-06. Went with Speer Grand Slams to get away from the ultra high BC/heavy boat tail bullets. They turned out to shoot well in the old rifle and resulted in my biggest buck to date.

65yd shot, entered just in front of the right shoulder, and exited just behind the left shoulder. Dropped him in his tracks. I was sold. They are going to have a place on the loading bench for the time to come.
