Spartan Bipod Javelin Length?

I am wanting to buy the Spartan Javelin Lite Bipod and can't decide on which length to get. The Standard is 7.2 inches and the long is 8.7 inches. Will be using it mainly for hunting and occasionally at the range. Hard to know without being able to look at one. Any insight is appreciated.

I would not get the Javelin Lite for hunting. You will need adjustments for different field conditions and positions. I would get the Javelin Pro with long legs.

I get that but for $300 and twice the price I'm thinking I can use my pack or my wiser precision quick sticks for a higher shot and the Javelin lite for most prone shots. Maybe its worth another $150 though?

It's worth the difference, in my opinion, to go with the Pro over the Lite. The Javelin Lite is not a good solution for hunting. You would be better off with a Harris or something else that is adjustable at a lower price point.

I bought the Lite...then after trying them at range, bought the Pro legs to swap out
