Spartan arca converter

I’m considering installing 2 Spartan gunsmith adapters in my factory tikka stock. One will be at the end of the forend for a bipod (which I already own) and the other at the balance point for attachment to a tripod using the Arca to Spartan 12mm converter https://javelinbipod.com/products/arca-spartan-converter. I figured this would be a good way to configure my stock to attach to both my bipod and tripod without adding rails and other protruding adapters. Anyone have any experience or thoughts with how the arca to Spartan converter works in the field and at the range?

I’ve had the Arca converter for a few years now. It works great at attaching you rifle to a tripod but is a bit wobbly for my taste and you sacrifice a lot having it that unsteady on a tripod. I’m no champion shooter but I noticed compared to a basic v shape rifle rest my effective range with the Arca converter was down to 200 yards off a tripod. The converter also has no stops for panning so your rifle will tend to swivel on you. I wish the converter had a stop point like the bipod does.

I know there’s a lot of bad right away but my use case anymore for the converter is as an attachment to my Wiser Precision system. It allows me an easy way to attach my rifles with Spartan adapters to trekking poles for a quick and light sitting bipod. It also then frees up my tripod for a rear rest if I’m not using a pack as one.
