Spam calls and texts

Is anybody using a service to scrub your info from call lists and such? I run a business and I literally can’t answer my phone because of the majority of calls I get are spam. Same with texts.
We went to an exchange number, one that makes them press a number to connect that screens out 100% of the robot calls but a salesman can still get through to us- unfortunately. It's $5/month. Crap calls went from 40 a day to 3 a week.

Emails and texts; I have been blocking those for about 3 years now and it's finally starting to pay off. I probably get one a day now.....where before it was 15-20. I have a secure email system with my one company that is awesome but cannot use it for everything.

I used to get a bunch but after messing with them and making them hang up on me it seems to have quit. They get pissed when you waste their time. Spend alot of time driving for work so it kept me entertained

I've started getting voicemails from spam calls....
I do too. It is the "Sorry we missed you. Call us now to take advantage of your low interest loan". I am on the "Do Not Call" list, but that was a total waste of time registering for that. They laugh or just hang up when I tell them I'm on the Do Not Call list.

Ever since I signed up on Google my Business for my I got hammered with spam calls. 10-15 a day. I started blocking them all for months. Im down to about 1-2 day 3x a week. Its better than before, but still a pain.

I am in business development for a marketing company. With the tools I use I can find a target's cell phone about 75% of the time. My CRM directs me to make over two dozen touches, the best way to get moved into cold is to actually reply rather than ignore.

I'm also a real person in the USA, not a bot or overseas dialer.

If you hate someone sign them up with the state health insurance hub to “have an insurance professional contact you with more detailed information.” The wife did that one year thinking a single email with current rates would show up. I kid you not, between the txts, calls and emails I stopped counting at over 1,500. lol

One year I slipped up and provide a phone number to the cashier at Cabela’s, a week later a bunch of new spam txts started.

That’s an evil idea that I’ll save for later

OP: It’s going to be hard since it’s your business number. Spammers can spoof numbers and area codes. I personally just let them (unknown numbers) go to voice mail and the voicemail box usually gives me a text based transcript so I can glance quickly if it’s spam or not. If it’s your business then your customers should be locals only, so stick with answering only local area codes. Like a few have mentioned, it’ll seem like a lot but block them individually a few numbers a day and that will eventually stop most of them.

I have Verizon and have their Call Filter app, it catches most of them. Phone doesn’t even ring, just get a notification of the spam call.
