Hi all,
Figured this was a good place to start here. I have been lurking for a while trying to gather info on back country hunting. I have been in Idaho for close to 8 years between 2 separate hitches. I am active duty Air Force and am trying to ride out my last few years here so I can retire in Idaho. Originally from Illinois and my dad had a small piece of property in Pike County that I bowhunted for years. I miss the outdoors and hunting, so I'm ready to put in some work and figure out hunting out west.

Welcome plenty to learn here it's a great place to start researching the do's and the don'ts. Remember most important thing is just getting out there and doing it. Thank you for service hope you get stay until your hitch is finished.
