@cuerro viejo why do you make the definitive statement on Kings? What sets them apart from Fox?
My personal experience with brands on multiple f250s and Chevys(3/4,1/2 and suburban). Kings have held up to abuse the best, with Fox second and bilsteins third(I’ve had blow outs from high heat of washboards and trailer with bilstein 5100 and 5160. In fact earlier this year I just replaced blistiens 5100 with fox 2.0 on suburban) and it was huge upgrade. unfortunately king didnt have a shock in that segment.

with that said I have a friend running bilstiens 8112 on tundra and he came from a mid travel king in his previous tundra, it was an impressive ride. 8112 is a multi valued shock that like having built in bumps stops etc, but it’s highly limited in fittment right now, long term durability is still a question though.

Only knock to king is they aren’t as good at corrosion resistance as they are steel bodies with a coating, when compared to fox 2/2.5 which is aluminum

Fox aren’t bad, the 2.0 and new 2.5 are great all around option, personally feel the King out shines them in ride quality. But I’ve had 3/4 get 80k out of a set of 2.0 which is impressive when you know 60k of that was cliché roads with trailer
