Kooch here, FNG from South Dakota. I've been scouring this forum a lot recently for ideas on a new rifle or two. I've found A LOT of useful information here. I appreciate all of the knowledge wrapped up nicely in a place like this.

I've got a couple new rifle questions, mainly just seeking advice. I'll start a thread in the right subsection.

Out of curiosity, did you ever make a decision on a new rifle?

Out of curiosity, did you ever make a decision on a new rifle?

I’m just going to put a different scope in my current Ruger Ranch in 5.56 and try 77gr TMKs. It shoots those Barnes very well so maybe it’ll do the same with the 77s.

For a cheap truck rifle it sure shoots well. Sometimes the thing we’ve got turns out to be the right thing.
