So I have been trying to work out how I can use my Sony A6000 for shooting wildlife through my Nikon. Novagrade sells a 40.5mm olympus camera ring that I bought for my Tg5. Turns out that same Adapter. works with the 16-50 Kit Lens which is also 40.5mm

https://novagrade.com/collections/camera/products/olympus-adapter

That adapter screws right into the filter ring on the 16-50 kit Lens. Wow Ive had the answer the whole time and didnt even know it. I cant be the only one that has been trying to figure it out so thought Id share.

Do I understand correctly if I say you screw the Novagrade on to the camera lens filter threads and then clamp the Novagrade to the spotting scope?

That is correct THLR. If you need photos I can provide. your 16-50 kit lens has threads around the glass where your Lens cap seats those threads are what the Novagrade adapter attaches too.

Couple of quick photos I took with the Sony A6000 and the Novagrade Digistscope 40.5mm ring attached to my Nikon Fieldscope 3 ed.
