Son’s first buck

Well after a few trips we finally made it happen on a Texas buck. My youngest (7) was able to take a good cull deer off our lease with his 22 creedmoor. I had some reservations about an 80gr eld-m but that has all been put to rest. It was bang flop and a big mess inside. My oldest was able to follow up with a doe of his own and again bang flop. I was nervous when we ordered him a fierce mini rogue after reading some reviews but we may have got lucky, it shoots 1/2” with hands loads all day and the recoil is perfect for the boys. Needless to say we ended up with two happy boys and plenty of memories to boot.
