Hey, I did get this cleared with Rokslide prior to posting.
Edit for this year's 3D season:
We are back at it, any Washington guys or anyone else looking for some 3D just north of the border. We have a 2-day 3D shoot coming up the weekend of June 24-25. Free camping starting on Friday night, free moose chilli lunch on Saturday and we’ll be selling tickets to a steak dinner Saturday night.
The local archery shop, Boorman Archery has donated some bows for us to give away at the end of the season. Every participant puts their name in for the draw of their bow of choice in August.
Steel elk shoot out and a long distance shoot off as well. See the poster for details.
Any questions just ask!
Last years post:
This year we’ve been hard at work getting the archery range in Mission BC back into shape and we’ve added an extreme course we’ve dubbed “The Arrow Donation Trail” I thought some of you might be interested in. So far it’s 20 targets ranging from a few feet to 90+ yards. We will end up with 26 targets total since the stakes start at A. This course is in addition to our other 40 target course. There will be a shoot open to the public on the last weekend in August and I will update this post when the poster is ready.
You will need binoculars, rangefinder, the ability to shoot out to 100 yards, a compass, a humble mind and of course extra arrows.
We have a regular 3D shoot coming up on July 24th and we are open to the public every Wednesday night until the end of August this year.
Mission and District Rod and Gun club is about 25 minutes from the Sumas Washington border crossing. If you have any questions just ask! If you want to make the trip to test yourself, the final trail marking should be done by the first weekend in August.
