Exo K4 Pack Accessories

Hi. I'm about to order a K4 and was wondering which accessories I should order along with it.

I'm thinking of getting the hip belt pouch, Tallboy nalgene holder, and the quick release rifle carrier. Anything else I should consider?

I got those and I like em. Consider getting two stash pockets. There are two places in the pack that these clip into and they’re convenient to have there for easy access storage (double check your pack model, I can only speak to the 3600). I also like the InReach holder.

I use 2 Nalgene holders, 2 hip pouches.

Gun carrier is meh.

2 Locking buckles are useful if you have a tripod or put the rifle under the wings.

I moved the inreach holder to my bino harness.

The stash pockets are primo.

I'd go with the Kifaru universal gun bearer over the Exo quick release.
Yeah or stone glacier. Seen that but don't use it.

Or skip exo bags and get a terratorn. Gun fits in pocket and under wings.

The exo bags are obsolete now that terratorn is here. With the standard bags you're constantly effing around with way too many and poorly placed straps and zippers all over. Intolerable now that there is an alternative.

I use a Nalgene holder, Multiple Stash pockets, 2 hip belt pockets, InReach Mini holder on bino harness, 1 set of locking buckles, Crib load panel, and an extra hip belt buckle.

Stash pockets. You can have multiple (6 spots for one on a 3600). I don't use all 6, but I do leave stuff stored in a stash pocket and just grab the one I need.

Two regular nalgene holders.

Two hip belt pockets.

I like the rifle carrier for what it is. Better than putting the rifle under the compression straps if you want it on your pack.

2 sets of locking buckles.

The crib if you plan to train with it.

I want, but do not have, the inReach holder.

The nalgene holder is clutch and I my favorite feature of the pack. Stash pockets are great, for kill kit, med/survival kit and odds & ends kit. 2 hip belt pouches live on the pack. Locking buckle is necessary for strapping the bow. Rifle carrier is nice, just a bit tight on the rokstok. Lately I stopped using the lid. Crib panel is great for packing meat & training hikes. Inreach holder works well even though I don't use it often.
I love the exo pack system

Curious why are there stash pockets any different from generic bags with a clip from Amazon?

I didn't get locking buckles when I first ordered and after my archery hunt year I ordered them on the way home. Could have been the way I was strapping my bow down or how I was moving but the straps kept coming loose so I would recommend that.

Nalgene holder is a must, out of the way when walking and convenient.

Stash pockets are good too.

Avoid the Exo rifle carrier like others have said. Kifaru and Slik Sling are both better options. IMO it's the only piece of gear from Exo that is not well-designed and integrated.

I have the Nalgene holder and hip belt pouch. After seeing some comments I’ll be ordering some locking buckles and probably go ahead and get a second hip pouch.

Seeing these comments I may experiment with the gun holder too

Have the nalgene holder, two hip pockets, load sling and buckles to attach lid, orange lid for the 2200 bag. Also got the waterproof inner liner that I haven't used yet. Have two of the inner pockets, not too keen on those yet. Have the rifle carrier, but only use it when packing meat. Had to modify the top attachment for the load sling to work easier.

I may be in the minority but I like the exo gun holder. And their bottle holder. Blaze orange lid and some of the locking buckets also help to have around.

While you’re at it I’d buy a spare belt buckle too.

Not a fan of hip belt pouches, can’t stand my arms rubbing on them, but I have a small frame.

To say the Exo bags are obsolete would be a stretch. I look at the terratorn bag and my first thought is the fact it is ugly af, functional, but ugly, kinda like that girl from high school...
