mine are waterproof.

i walked thru a soaked milo field with no leaks. i also hit mine with a jet spray from a hose. feet stayed dry.

I applied seam sealer from one of my tipi kits and mixed that with some thinner to make it more like syrup and brushed it into the mesh areas and stitching. Expecting a nice water proof set up for a while now. My boots are over a year old, and were leaking.
