I'm 53 and prefer to hunt alone, cant find anyone dependable enough to grind it out on the mountain or keep their mouth shut about a good spot.............. always think hard about the solo gig when game hits the ground (deer or elk).

Congrats! As a fellow 50's club member, I think I'll remember your story as motivation the next time my brain says "you're too old." Will also use it to remind me to at least pay some attention when my body says "you're too old!"
