It depends on your use case. I know a lot of guys like the H25LR as an all around headlamp. I personally prefer the HS10, it's a solid amount of light output in a much smaller package but won't get you a red light if that's important to you.

For flashlights, I typically have a headlamp for most stuff so a flashlight is for throw lighting situations for me. That being the case, I've been pretty impressed with the IF22A. The SC13 flashlights are nice little lights to have in the truck or around the house as well but won't get you the same throw as the bigger models.

The q8 plus is best flashlight I have ever used. Not really for pack use, but I always have one in my truck and a few around the house.

If u want the red light option, definitely go 25LR. 3 settings of red and regular

Ordered a couple headlamps and a flashlight for $35 total; Curious to see how these stack up. I'll probably leave one headlamp in the vehicle for emergency purposes and use the other for hunting.
