SOAL - A traders thread

If your going to do penny stocks, it would be best to pick a few and spread it out.

Another way you could do this would be to pick a handful and post them up. Then have a few people do the due diligence and post up the pros and cons. Spark conversations and narrow it down until you have a couple remaining and then go for it.

Either way, would be fun but I don’t have 1000 to risk right now. Will be fun to watch you all though.

I'd be in for $1,000 max. I think it would be a fun experiment. That said, I haven't had much time lately to research stocks so I don't have any input on good candidates.

I’m in for anything up to 1k. Heck it’s this or buy another share of Lilly…

I don’t have an amazing pick. Heck, we could get another tariff thrown at something tonight or tomorrow…..

Why does it need to be a penny stock gamble? I said nothing boring. We don’t need to throw a $1000 at QQQ or something safe and boring, but it doesn’t need to be a $0.90 biotech stock either. Heck, it could be archer or pltr for all I care. Reading the other thread, every day we hear about someone doubling their money on a stock, so let’s do it!

This shouldn’t an all or nothing, double up or zero. It should be a 1000 of your current portfolio that you invest in a semi aggressive stock and in a year (that makes sense) we see where we’re at. If it tanks, we’ll blame each other, if it works we can throw a few bucks at HOWL.

Or we delete the thread and I’ll go back to seeing guys talk about all the money they made on the roksliders thread! 😜

Approximately 85% to 95% of active professional money managers and day traders fail to outperform market benchmarks like the S&P 500 over long-term periods (10-15+ years)
. While short-term success (1-3 years) is more common, consistent, net-of-fee profitability for professionals is rare, with data indicating that over 90% of actively managed funds underperform in the long run
