The thing is........one man really doesn't have the power to get rid of or keep public lands.

Not sure where guys are coming up with getting rid of public lands as what there talking about is reducing the size of national monuments. The land will still be public just not locked up in a monument. Bear's Ear for one is way bigger then it needs to be and ties up a lot of public land that it doesn't need to tie up. Its not like the land is pristine and unroaded as people have been using it for multiple use for years. Sure protect the cool stuff but don't incorporate a few 1000 extra acres in there as well just because.
