FWIW, without a smaller stuff sack, a little compression from your pack and the thing ends up pretty small anyways.

Planning to do a 3-4 day hunt coming up soon with my DST. Hiking into a couple new areas that look promising and looking forward to trying the DST...will be first time using it out on a hunt. All the photos of good looking pitches are encouraging!

The DST worked great for me. The weather panned out and I avoided early snow and most precip, but the DST setup nicely and made a nice shelter. Definitely have a lot of confidence going into the next outing…

One thought on the tarp camping, when you leave in the morning, what about bugs crawling into the sleeping bag?

I read this wrong the first time, thought you were being rude and telling me to pack it up :)

Yeah that might be the only way to avoid bugs for a few hours. Guess one could hang it too, air it out and it would most likely dry out too. Unless winds picks up and takes it away...

At 6oz the Borah is hard to beat.
