No sir...you need to get off the amber colored stuff and go for the darkest 100% maple syrup you can find. It's unreal how good it is.

Edit to add: I'm not Canadian.

I've been scoping public lands close to my house (city/county parks) for sugar maples to tap on my own. Think I would quite revel in being cited for poaching maple syrup. Haven't found a tree yet tho. If one of you fellers would make a brand recommendo I'll try it again.

I buy Golden Blossom DARK at a local grocery store. You might be able to find it, or buy it online.

I can't help with DIY syrup...again, not a Canadian.

Man I went to PA to visit some of my wife’s family. They say “ yous guys.” I said wtf did yall just say. Both stunned. Yankee land language is wild, they even say “yins” when referring to folks. Insanity.
Only people from around Pittsburgh say "yins". There are about 4 different accents in PA. Scranton is different than Philly and both are different than Pittsburgh or Harrisburg. Philly and Jersey are pretty close to the same.

And they all sound like Yankees to me lol, smallmouth fishing was decent but you couldn’t pay me to live anywhere above South Carolina. Wayyy to cold, wayyyyy to liberal.

Pennsylvania was once described as Philadelphia on one side...Pittsburgh on the other and Alabama in between. The middle part of the state is extremely conservative. Half the state of PA is state game lands and pretty rural. You couldn't pay me to live in Philadelphia either. Wife and I have a place in North Myrtle Beach that we rent out over the summer. About 10 miles from Calabash, NC. We really like SC.

I’ve driven from AK to the lower 48 dozens of times, I see large sheets of plywood painted orange with the words F#CK TRUDEAU written on them. Aside from far west and far east…. They are great friendly people. Come on in…….then the gun thing would be so much easier.

I have to admit. Before last nights game, there sure was a lot of trash talk going on. Now it sure is quiet. 😉

Just think how good USA hockey would become if we became the 51st state
Honestly if two more states sanctioned high school hockey, I think USA would far surpass Canada. It's a numbers game, and even though it's not real popular here yet, we're darn close.

You’re absolutely right. Just look at the talent coming out of California and other warmer places with NHL influence. Imagine if the get their act together in colder places.
