Needed to validate location of snowmobile trails adjacent through a parcel that i'm involved with a construction project on so I figured i'd just check out onx. With the motorized vehicle road/trail layers on, none of the old snowmobile trails show up anymore for me.

Is this a part of OnX creating all of their other damn user groups so now we dont get all of the layers we used to or am i just messing something up with layers? Person I spoke with on the phone didn't know..

I've only ever noticed 1 snowmobile trail on OnX Hunt in my area and, I just checked, and it is still there. I would assume that those featured would be more specific to OnX Backcountry in snow mode?

@wind gypsy
They are in the OnX Offroad version.

Looks like a guy has to pay extra for that now.. Kind of pisses me off that they decided they were going to make all of these other user groups and pull that data from onx hunt. It's certainly pertinent to anyone doing hunting activities or evaluating land purchases to know where the snowmobile trails are.

It pisses me off as well. I wish they would combine that into one. I would even pay more and it really sucks because you can’t share from Hunt to Off-road or vise-versa. Yes you can export and import gpx files but the easy share of OnX is nice.

Well my question was answered but might as well publicly gripe and ask for that layer back in OnX hunt since it looks like we have a representative on the board. @onX Hunt

Hopefully they respond. I've always had great CS with OnX and like the app...but if they start to short change apps making us buy more and more, I'll just go back to google maps which is free.

I don't understand why they don't at least offer a deal for multiple types of accounts. I'd like to have OnX backcountry with the snow layer myself, but its stupid for me to pay for 2 separate accounts each at full price.
