The decoys are highly effective, I think they are the most photo-realistic in the Industry, but I'm a little biased...I own the Company :D

The decoy and camo covers change out in less than a minute (there are 22 Slipcovers available for the unit)

Here's a video geared toward elk hunting that outlines some of the applications/ benefits of this decoy System

Sorry these are my first postings, I joined Rokslide a couple days ago, and I just saw this thread. I'd be happy to provide any specific info about our gear.

Best of Luck,
Jeff

Next few weeks I will have a indepth and real hunter review of the system. I couldnt pass this thing up and its something that Ive kind of been contemplating for a while for Elk hunting. Looking forward to trying this out and throwing up some videos on it.

Interesting idea. The first thing in my mind though is the redundancy of the black umbrella material that seems to add weight but really serve no function as far as being a blind. Have you thought about using material printed with a basic camo pattern? That way at least it isn't always needing to be covered with something else.

colonel,
We did think about it. We actually found that the black background was necessary to keep the decoys from being "transparent"...giving them maximum opacity.

This being Rokslide, you guys know that everything is a game of ounces...the Slipcover material (88% polyester 12% lycra) was the lightest and strongest material we could find for our decoy and camo images. It also had the following necessary properties: no unnatural glare, not a "sticker magnet", almost impossible to rip/ tear, colorfast, and almost completely stain resistant with great stretch memory.

Since this material is somewhat sheer...we need the black background to give the best presentation.

Best of Luck,
Jeff

I have used this system for two years now and I have had great success with it. It does take some getting used to, but once you become familiar with the gear it is hard to leave behind. Also Jeff's customer service is second to none and has always been spot on with answering questions and keeping my system in great working order, you can tell that he lives and breaths with his company. If anyone has any specific questions about the systems use/practicality let me know. I have used it on elk, deer, antelope and a mountain goat hunt. The system truly works!

Jjenness you got my excited even more now to get it. Cant wait to put it to work. I plan to do a extensive review on it with pictures video and the works for Jeff. Really nice guy. Enjoyed our conversations thus far. May have to have you out to hunt with us in Colorado Jeff. =)

Sounds good. I haven't hunted for elk in Colorado since I was stationed at Ft. Carson about 10 years ago. It would be good to make it down south again and visit some old friends.
