What can I put on my pad to help from sliding off of it when sleeping at weird angles? Some time of glue or something? I use an X Therm if that matters any...

Seam Sealer. I use Silnet seam sealer. Just put it on in rows and let it dry for a few days. I've got a new Xtherm coming my way this week, time to get some more Silnet. I'm sure some 100% silicone caulking could work too.

I just use a clear silicone. Put down a dime size spot, lick my finger and push it close to flat. Spread them out all over.

Might sound silly, but get a thinner pad. I have the Thermarest X-lite and sometimes have the same problem. But it never happens with my Thermarest Prolite.

Would it work if you stuck it in your bivy or sleeping bag?

That is what I do, since I'm a rodeo side sleeper.

I do the silicone thing...but thin it down as if you do it too thick it rolls up and comes off sometimes- thinner is better and you thin with mineral spirits...or just use the already thinned silnet sealer.

You can makes these pads too sticky- IMO- putting too many silicone stripes can make it hard to shift around- I think its best to do a little and then try it

I recommend cleaning your pad with something before putting down the silicone, and smears have worked better for me then dots. They tend to stick better to the pad and provide more grip.
