I’ve used the 25-06, 257 Rob and the 25-06ai for years. Killed a ton of deer, pigs and coyotes with them. The 110 Accubond at 3250 is a killing machine

I had a Ruger 77 RST back in the late ‘80’s. Medium wt barrel, iron sights. It loved 85 gr ballistic tips. I sold it to buy a Sako vixen in .17 rem. Bad move, should have just gone on the rice and beans diet for awhile. This was my first Sako that I still have.

I recently picked up a customized AV Sako in .25/06. Auction find- it’s been coated with what I think is Black-T, pillar bedded in a McMillan Sako hunter stock and wearing a 6x42 leupold. I had given my dies away, so I recently re-kitted and have loaded up some new PPU and Starline brass. If the wind ever subsides, I’ll get to the range..any day now…
