slick trick

I recommend the VIAM 10degree quilt best sleeping I had this year and was very warm. packs really small
klymet static v, was down around 28-32 most mornings for 9 days , he will build them to your pad sizeI will check out the VIAM quilt. What pad did you use with your quilt?
How cold did you get to try it out in?
Thanks
I will tell you this I was a bag man but never again since have gone to this quilt
Just so I am beating a dead horse....
Does anybody have the Ultralight(20 degrees 3.25lb reg or ?? wide) and/or the superlight(0 degree 4lbs or 4.5lbs in wide) wiggy's? I would like to know how much you can compress them, compared to other synthetic bags. They come with a compression bag. How do they compare to the Eddie Bauer Ignite/Slick Bag/ etc. The weight seems right in line with other synthetic bags.
With me being new to backcountry camping/hunting, a quilt scares me a little and I hope to get a decent bag without spending $400.
Thanks,I have the 0 degree superlite and it takes up 2500ci by my guess. It's a beast to try and compress and its heavy. They are quite a bit more than a slick (the older one). It's a beefy bag. You will not have fun carrying it, but it's warm. I personally wouldn't buy another one for backpacking.
I am struggling to pull the trigger. EE covert, VIAM synthetic quilt, slick bag 20, mountain hardware.... the guys that could spend the $300 budget, give me your direction!
