I was not referring to sleeping in the truck, but bulky transport doesn’t sound good either. Especially memory foam in wet conditions or very dusty conditions. I have three thermarest inflatables which are what I use when I’m using my backpack, but a ~2” thick air mattress a little bigger than my body, will never be as comfortable as a 6”+ thick, queen size. I bet throwing a tarp with reflective side up under the air mattress would help insulate from the ground a bit. Might be worth exploring.how much space do you have in the truck? You can just buy large sheets of mattress foam in different densities, but might have trouble compressing it for transport without a heavy-duty bag and and vacuum pump... (diy mattress foam example)
