Sky Rover Banner Cloud 10x42 binocular review

My limited experience is with the 12x50s from sky rover and all i can say is wow. Only other 12x bino with this much FOV is an NL pure and they are 5x the cost. Iv spent some time behind the 12x42 NL pures and with out having them side by side (which i plan on doing) I don't feel like I'm giving up much if any optic quality. Only thing I can say is the sky rovers are heavier and bulkier but the performance is right there with the alpha glass and huge FOV.

I was considering buying the 12X50’s but decided on something else when they went from a lifetime warranty to only a 3 year warranty.

Yes of course. Why would they have a different warranty for one size of binoculars?

Why would they change it from lifetime to 3 years?
Different companies do different things.

I am no pro reviewer and have only used them in my backyard for short sessions over the last week.

That said, they live up to the hype. Premium glass with tremendous FOV despite being 15x. Small FOV has always been the downfall of big glass for me.

I'll have a lot more info in 5 weeks after my Barbary hunt but I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed, especially for the price. The Pure may be a touch better but these are probably comparable with anything else.

Good luck on your hunt...please let us know how the binos perform. I am strongly considering purchasing a pair of the 12x50, but awaiting your input (no pressure lol).
