I was going out on a hunt today and happen to be going past the east bathroom - naked. It has a doctor scale in it so I weighed myself. I'm down to 186.7#. I haven't weighed that since I was in the eighth grade and I was skinny then. I'm type II diabetic so my food choices are limited. My goal is 200-205. Ozempic caused muscle loss so I'm not on it any more.
Any suggestions?

I’m about 245 and want to get to 200 to 205 or so.
I’ve thought about the GLP-1’s but unsure if I want to try them or not.
You could maybe try the Carnivore or Ketovore diet. I’ve had good luck on Carnivore before but it’s hard to stick to, especially if you have a social life

When I was on it, I couldn't finish a double cheeseburger. The problem was it shut down my guts and stool softeners became a main course.

I’ve heard it can slow down your digestion like this and cause those problems

I finished rifle and muzzleloader season with 34 horse days and a substantial weight loss. I weighed myself yesterday and had gained from 186 to 192 in two weeks. The extra meals, sleeping till 8 and staying warm has helped a lot.

I will hibernate for two months then start sawing my winters wood. Maybe I can balance this out to a reasonable normal.

I started on the lowest dose of Ozempic and had so many positive results. Not only was I losing weight but the anti-inflammatory properties were amazing. Within 2-3 days my chubby hands looked normal. I was suffering from bad arthritic pain in my thumbs the prior 6 months. In 2-3 days the pain was gone. Hasn't come back. My IBS completely chilled out (TMI, I know), The desire to drink was greatly diminished. So, what did I do? I focused and started drinking beer again! That resulted in a 6 week plateau. Now on Zepbound 5mg not drinking and losing weight again. For me, these GLP-1's are magic. If I could afford it I'd be on the lowest dose of Ozempic for life.
