Skinning knife

Skinning wild game after school I was completely happy with a buck 103. Three very light strokes over a sharpening stick between animals kept it shaving sharp the whole season. Heavier than needed and I wouldn’t pack it into the backcountry, but a solid knife.

I made a couple of these a long time ago.

That is a seriously cool old knife, especially given how much you've probably used it. Hope it will be a prized heirloom someday...

I ended up with that thing before I was old enough to drive. Blade is a bit brittle, it sure isnt a chopper. I'm sure there are far better knives out there, but I'm pretty content with what I have
