A buddy of mine got hit recently with his first ever bow case surcharge flying Delta out of Sacramento after the Redding tournament for $100 FYI.

Ditto, bummer. The only issue I have ever had flying with a bow case is having to sign a damage waiver (which happens virtually every time). That is one aspect where a hard bottom roller duffel shines.
