Well i got to put my hands on the new mountain haulers this weekend. 2700 and a 4000 both of them seem like really nice packs. I love the new stuff it feature with batwing feature in the front. They have removed the built in bow holder system like they have in the flash bag. The 4000 has the built in expansion baffles for more space, the 2700 doesn't. 4000 has meat shelve and antler strap hookups like the 6200, red goes to red buckle system. Pretty nice bags and felt good and they still did not incorporate bag to frame separation but that is not a biggie for me. Anyways just letting y'all know they will be rolling out soon. Oh the 4000 runs $ 485.00 and the 2700 is at. $329.00
These new packs are really nice. If someone has questions just let us know

Would you say this would be a good pack for Multiple day backcountry hiking. The spot I’m hunting Requires me to hike quite some ways. Most likely I will be hiking up and down Terrain .

Take a look at the Mountain Hauler 4000. It would be a great pack for that. Very well made.

I don’t see a lot of buzz on here regarding these packs. They generally aren’t even included in many of the pack comparison-type posts. Are they not even in the same league as SG, Kifaru, SO and the like? They seem well thought out like the rest of the Sitka line, but it’s like everyone knows something that I don’t. (Then again, I am new to Rokslide)

I have the Sitka Mountain Hauler 4000. I would put it up against any of the above. I think they are regularly $485. I picked mine up for $388. If you have a little patience you can catch them on sale from time to time.57C1A8FB-3FFE-46B4-B584-27BF9FA27934.jpeg

Does the waist belt on either pack have side pockets or do they have to be added?
Any further feedback on these since they've come out?
