Nobody seems to make a true Tall anymore. Sitka Talls are 5" short on me. Kryptek Talls are 3" short on me.......and I'm only 6'6". Not sure what really tall guys do. I have called both Kryptek and Sitka to see if they even had any material that they could send me so I could sew on more material, and both said "no". How on earth do they make pants without any material laying around? Really odd.

Cabela's Microtex and Microtex Lite were great when they came unhemmed, but have now discontinued the Lite series and have started hemming their so-called Talls to 34" inseam. Perhaps there's a market for me to start my own clothes manufacturing company for clothes that fit people taller than 6'.

Feel your pain man--being 6'8" sucks for clothes!

Yep, I'd be all for starting a tall man's camo company....
6-6" about 230, struggle to find clothes that fit.

So what are you using for hunting pants? I still have a few sets of Microtex and Lite, but completely ripped out the bottoms of a pair of the Lites crossing a fence this year.......not repairable. And the others are running thin.......looking for other warm weather pants. Even the regular Microtex is a little heavy for those warm CO Sept days.

5 miles have you contacted this company in Seattle Called rainy pass repairs? They do a ton of repair and warranty work for the out door industry, they have roles of technical clothing as well (sitka and Kuiu for sure, possibly kryptek) I would be willing to bet they would lengthen any pair of pants you wish. Downside is im sure it will not be cheap.

I just bought a pair of fjallraven pants, unhemmed and they were really, really long. I'm 6.1 and will need to shorten them quite a bit. I'm traveling so I can't measure how long they were but compared to my tall Timberlines, I dare to say they had at least 6-8 inches. I'm back in a week and can measure them then. The model I got was the Barents pro. Seem like solid pants, I'll give them a whirl this spring.
