Yep...hooked up with "lead" timberlines, perfect to complement the new kuiu xxl vias guide jacket. Almost $60 off and free shipping.
Thanks for posting....

And btw....looked like plenty of "tall" inseam in solid color left.

Managed to score a pair of Timberlines in Optifade. Pays to be a 'fat boy' on occasion!

My Timberlines just arrived and I think they will be perfect for Montana rifle season. The CS pads will take some time to get used to though.

Well, got my timberlines today. Absolutely terrible fit. I ordered 36T and it says so right on the pants label. They are maybe 32" inseam and so tight I could barely get them on. And the knee pads are ridiculously cumbersome. I've never had a 36T not fit me! Laughable.
And as an ultralight purist, I couldn't believe the weight of these pants.
They are extremely heavy.

I've heard about Sitka nightmares with fit, add me to the list. These are going right back to Midway. I'll waste $10 on return shipping with sitka product/midway.

Maybe you would like the Kyptek Valhalla pants better? Anything durable is bound to be heavy...

I ordered some Timberlines on the midway sale and like them so far, yes the knee pads will take some getting used to and my pocket knife clip is a little too tight for the material on the knife pocket and I don't see myself wearing the suspenders. Also I didn't like the belt so I cut out the sewed in one and put my Kifaru garment belt in. I really like these pants!

Well, I might just stick to my marmot scree pants, and for colder hunts go with the patagonia alpine guides...

I cover so many miles, whether sheep, goat, or high country muleys....freedom of movement and lightweight means everything. And the fit is true to size.

Thanks for the insights.

I've heard great things about the marmot scree pants but they just don't fit me. That's the great thing about Rokslide is you get so much info on quality products that at least it weeds out what you may not want.

Nobody seems to make a true Tall anymore. Sitka Talls are 5" short on me. Kryptek Talls are 3" short on me.......and I'm only 6'6". Not sure what really tall guys do. I have called both Kryptek and Sitka to see if they even had any material that they could send me so I could sew on more material, and both said "no". How on earth do they make pants without any material laying around? Really odd.

Cabela's Microtex and Microtex Lite were great when they came unhemmed, but have now discontinued the Lite series and have started hemming their so-called Talls to 34" inseam. Perhaps there's a market for me to start my own clothes manufacturing company for clothes that fit people taller than 6'.

I'm sure it is laying around, in China!

Sure it is.......exactly where the pants are too. Sure would be hard to throw some extra material into the container, would probably bankrupt them.

Think about it.......they run a multi-million dollar company making camouflage clothing, but they don't have access to any of the material used to make those clothes?? My goodness.....cut me off a yard and charge me $50 for it.

I can feel your pain :) . I don't have long legs but my torso is really long. That's extra length sewn in. Cut up some plain merino shirts to get the fabric.
