Mountain pants do not come with suspenders.

I've used mine pretty hard for the last four hunting seasons and they still look basically new except for one small tear in the lower leg when a broken limb snagged them while I was packing an elk quarter. Very versatile very comfortable very durable.

If it means anything to anyone the fabric on the knees and seat is slightly loud. This comment is coming from just wearing them in the store as it was the only reason I didn't buy the pair I found in the cabelas bargain cave for half off.

They break in and have not really been an issue with me. I originally thought the same

I have the Timberlines and love them! The waterproof seat should be standard on all hunting pants.

The ascent pants are awesome. I also have KUIU attack and Tiburon pants, but when it comes to lightweight early season hiking/hunting pants the Sitka Ascent are the most comfortable and breathable pants I have worn. I own a pair in camo and another in clay, and use them for hiking all the time. They are also suprisingly water resistent and dry quickly.
