Quick question on these… do the knee pads install top down or bottom up?

I have the FL catalyst foundry, and their knee pads install bottom up. They also have no closure or retention strategy. So you can’t walk with them or the just slip down. See super stupid to me… but I seen the Sitka mountain pant was in their outlet and available in my sizing.

I am pretty sure without digging mine out that they install from the bottom and they have a small velcro closer to hold them in
