I'm looking at the Sitka Kelvin Down WS hoody jacket and was wondering on size. I normally were a large in all the Sitka I have now. Was thinking of ordering the XL to make sure I'll have extra room for layering. If I layer much now under my large jackets I feel I need a tad more room as I it gets tight moving my arms. Guess I'm in between sizes. Will that hold true with the Kelvin Down as well? if so Ill get the XL as planned. Thanks for any feedback!!

Nope. You'll have room in the WS for another person. I have a handful of other Sitka jackets including an aerolite and kelvin lite all are XL. I have the Kelvin down Ws in Large and it is perfectly fine with a heavyweight layer and my aerolite under it.

It's practically sized up on its own.

X2, I normally wear large in Sitka tops/jackets, the large WS down jacket is pretty big compared to their other large pieces.

I wear an XL in most everything, no problem layer under the down WS puffy.

I normally wear large in Sitka as well, but preferred XL for the Down WS. I like the fact if I catch a chill on a glassing knob I can throw the jacket on over my bino harness and shed the jacket before going on a stalk.

You'll be swimming in the XL if you get it
