Sitka Incinerator- worth it?

I am extremely happy I sprung for my incinerator. I take mine with me in temps below freezing. It’s allowed me to sit for over 8 hours on multiple occasions with temps in the teens and a stiff wind. It isn’t magic and you still have to layer well. I’ll mirror what others say, don’t even try to walk in it. I tried that one night and had to stop and shed layers after 25 yards. It sure beats the old camo coveralls I was using from the farm store for the past 20 years. Who me, worth every penny I paid for it.

Just coming back to this thread....

Last fall I got an Incinerator coat and I wore it with Stratus bibs. I have some primaloft "puffy" pants I put under the Stratus. That worked out ok. I found that I really liked the coat.

Since this, I had some significant life changes. Last February (2025), I was in the hospital with blood clots in my lungs. Twice. As a result, I'm now permanently on Coumadin (blood thinner). So far I haven't noticed that I'm more cold than usual, but that's what many people experience. Anywho....when I got some friends and family Sitka codes over the summer, the Incinerator bibs were on sale AND Sitka applied the code to the sale price (which is unusal). Must mean the line is changing and they're clearning them out? Regardless, I got Incinerator bibs matched to the coat.

Haven't had the chance to wear the set yet, as it's only October, but I'm curious to see how it feels in chilly weather. I just arrowed my buck for the year (Pennsylvania, one buck per year), and doe hunting usually doesn't entice me to sit in tough conditions...but I might just to see how the set performs.

Camofire deals (sad to see them go) hooked me up with an Incinerator handwarmer muff a few years ago. That thing is magic. Even cold hands get warm inside that. I also got the Incinerator hat a couple years back and enjoy that, too. Wish they made one in orange, but I put an orange beanie over it and call it good. I added a pair of Jetstream windstopping gloves this year, as the major "flaw" I had was pulling my hands from the handwarmer muff in my Fanatic (half fingers on the index and thumb) were fine until the wind hit them. The Jetstreams let me text if needed, should block the wind, and are thin/flexible enough to feel the trigger before the rifle goes bang. Should be a good setup for this year's rifle season (after Thanksgiving) and late doe season/flintlock season (after Christmas).

Oh... when I had the FnF code, I got a Sitka Toolbucket pack. I've been using it in bow season and it's a keeper. Carries better than I ever expected....even moreso because it doesn't have a hip belt. It does manage to mostly transfer weight to the hips, which isn't much of a big deal except I found I love hitching my bow to the back of it for the walks in and out. And that works quite well. I plan to do the same with my rifle. For bow season, I don't carry a ton of things, but it's JUST big enough to put my gel seat cushion in it, my somewhat bulky bowholder that I just love too much to give up, my thermacell, and a water bottle. It's fairly quiet, too. So big thumbs up to Sitka on that one. Add in that they had the foresight to put clothing straps on both the top and the bottom and I am planning to put my incinerator bibs in the bottom carry straps and the coat in the top straps and be able to walk to stands with the heavy layers on my pack, not on me.

Appreciate all the input... I'm looking forward to trying out the new stuff as the temps drop in a month or so.
