Sitka 90% Pants Sizing

Curious what waist size a 2XL in these translate too? Sitka's website lists 2XL to fit 40-42" waist. I know these are a older style pants and was wondering if the 2XL ran smaller back in the day. I heard that the 2XL fits a 38" waist. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a pair of older 90% pants in size XL. I wear 38 in jeans and they fit me perfect.

I have an older solid gray pair in 2XL. The fit me good with a little room for layering as a 38” waist. When I was a 40, they were tight. I would say the “wheelhouse” for these is a 39” waist.

I got the 2XL 90% pants.

They fit me equivalent to a 42x32 fitted pant.
