Single best pic you've ever taken

What did you have Ai do?
Zilch. Been taking nightscapes like this for years. Inside tip? Pentax dSLRs have built in star tracking using their sensors :)

If anyone wants nightscape tips I’d be happy to help, it’s wild what a good iPhone can do these days.

OK good. I've been taking pictures of the milky since film but I just saw edit photo Ai in your file name and got irked

Idk if this is my “best” but is definitely my favorite. Taken with my Kodak 6MP camera (my first digital camera that took “good” photos) in 2009 north of the East Rosebud trail looking south over Medicine Lake as we were doing off trail LAC campsite surveys for USFS deep in the Beartooth wilderness. This picture was pivotal for me in that I had a blown up poster printed and hung in my bedroom wall in Ohio as a daily reminder of my goal to move west.

The leader of our crew asked me that day “do you think you’ll be back here.” I assuredly said yes. Did that hike again in 2017 but didn’t go up to that lake.
