Maybe not the best but one of my favorites

I'm shocked a deer of that caliber would put himself in a corner/situation like that with no escape route???
Comfort. man. Very likely that little washout is getting him down and out of some colder winds or something?

You need to learn to USE that information to your advantage!

Like you come around a corner on your hike back out and like "Ahh.. Nice! The breeze is cool here." Take Note of places like that! I betchu money whatever game you're after knows a lotta little places like that which provide some kinda comfort to them, in a world without many comforts.

This one spot I goto, sometimes right about now the winds can occasionally be pretty harsh. And when that happens? Being down inside of one of the draws or ravines can give you a DRASTIC change in temps you experience, being down there and outta that howling wind coming over the mtn top.

For me it’s one of these three. I really can’t decide.
#1 is leaving Wye Island in Maryland after the last day of bow season, water was glass calm and the back side of that photo was pure black night

#2 was up in BC for my first trip hunting bear, I think that trip was when I fell in love with the mountains

#3 was a WMA right outside where I grew up and currently live on the eastern shore of Maryland, early morning squirrel hunt, another one of those calm mornings, silent woods, perfect peace
