Best is impossible. Some elicit deep emotion from others, some photos just have meaning to me.

I'll go with this one. A thousand years of sheep herders have moved their flock into the Caucasus Mountains of these trails. I trod it while hunting Dagestan tur. One of my favorites.

One of the most amazing places that I've been. Superb ram! He's got to be knocking on 40". The mountains are unlike anything I've seen, but I've not been to New Zealand. I suspect they are similar.
